Today is Saturday - Life is Good!

Life as an affiliate marketer is good. Even with the price of gas over $2.20 a gallon, I am still making money online every day. As I have mantioned in a previous post, the key is Diversification. I love to jump around and get into a lot of different niche markets, and while I do not dominate any of them, I am competitive in them all. So, when one goes sour for awhile, another is booming, and I never see a complete fall in income from affiliate sales.

I started out on Netcom, with a dialup account in 1997 and I built a website called "Absolute Submission" which was all about URL submission, and website promotion. I eventually called my site BBL Internet Media, with the BBL standing for Banker Business Links. In March of 97, I registered bblmedia.com, and started changing the look and content of the site like this.

Over the first 2 years I concentrated on Internet Marketing and Website Promotion, but later learned how to make "content rich gateway pages", and expanded that way into several retail areas like computers and sporting goods. Then I began creating small sites in specific niche markets, like NetSports Pro Interactive and the Women's Natural Health Center.

All of my pages are up to date and current, with new and changing links and content which I add daily. Google will index your sites more often if the robot knows you upload new content on a daily or near daily basis. It's good for your search engine rankings! It's also good for your pocketbook.

I have a good page of Affiliate Programs which are 2 tier, but they are by no means the only ones I am a member of. They are simply the pick of the crop for me personally, but I am sure that no 2 affiliate marketers have the same favorites. I work in the areas of Affiliate Marketing, Website Promotion, Health, Sports, Retail Sales (includes many different product areas), and several other I am currently working on including Betting on Sports

I am particularly happy with this new affiliate program in the Health Niche, called ANXIUS. I have recruited several good sub-affiliates that are generating sales for the company, and of course I receive overrides on their sales. My sales of this product through direct links are picking up too, and voila', a new revenue stream is producing income for me. That's how it works!
