LeapFish offers Search with Social Media - New Concept
This new search engine is pretty cool, and I wanted to lay it out for you here. The results still include some listings from the web, along with relevant results from other social media sites like Twitter and Facebook, and many others as well.
You can choose to search normally, or in "Real Time" which yields different results according to what has recently been posted on social media sites. Take a look at this video to see how they present this new search concept:
LeapFish has been doing a campaign to get the word out by paying for sponsored tweets on Twitter and apparently others as well, and it shows when you type in "leapfish search social media" where you will find the many Twitter paid tweets going out the the various followers of each one. I admit, I am one who tweeted about this, my second sponsored tweet since I joined Sponsored Tweets System.
For a more interesting search, try a celebrity like "Anjolina Jolie" and you will see how this new search really works using the real time option. There are results from Digg, Breaking News (from newfeeds already on search I presume), and a lot of Twitter results. Very interesting way to find out what people are saying about a person, subject, idea or whatever. This has very good possibilities for all of us.
Hey, I even found one of my blogs in the real time and in the Normal search by trying various terms where I want to be seen on. So, LeapFish gets my vote for innovation with this new service. Give it a try will ya?
